2. Payment models
The Service Provider offers the following payment models. The exact number of Credits granted and their validity period are always shown to the User at the time of purchase, before confirmation and payment. Free trial period: each new User receives 20 Credits for a trial period lasting 30 days from the date of email address confirmation. After the trial period ends, access to Service features requires purchasing a subscription or a Credit package. Monthly subscription: a subscription renewed automatically in monthly cycles. During each cycle, the User receives a specified number of Credits to use within that cycle. Unused Credits expire at the end of that subscription cycle. Semester plan: a one-time payment (without automatic renewal) providing a specified number of Credits valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Unused Credits expire at the end of that period. Microtransactions (Credit packages): the User may purchase additional Credit packages at any time. Purchased packages are one-time (without automatic renewal) and valid for the period indicated at the time of purchase (e.g. 30 days from the date of purchase).
3. Rules for using Credits
Credits granted under a subscription or semester plan expire at the end of the respective subscription cycle or plan validity period and are not carried over to the next period. Credits constitute a digital service and, subject to section 6 and mandatory provisions of law, are non-refundable. An exception applies when a technical error on the Service Provider's side prevents the use of purchased Credits. In such a case, the User should report the issue within 14 days of the purchase date by contacting support@quizonator.com. This provision does not limit the User's statutory rights regarding non-conformity of the Service with the contract or other consumer rights under applicable law.
4. After Credits are used up
After Credits are exhausted, Service features stop working until: - an additional Credit package is purchased through a microtransaction, or - the subscription is renewed to obtain a new allocation of Credits. The Service will inform the User when Credits are exhausted and about available options to purchase more.
5. Subscription renewal and cancellation
The monthly subscription renews automatically for the next monthly cycle. At the start of each new cycle, the selected payment method is charged the amount applicable to the chosen plan, as indicated at the time of purchase. The User may cancel the monthly subscription at any time. Cancellation means the subscription will not renew for the next cycle, but the User retains access to Service features until the end of the paid, current cycle. The fee for the current, started cycle is non-refundable. A subscription purchased through the Extension or on quizonator.com can be cancelled through the User panel or by contacting support@quizonator.com. A subscription purchased through the App is cancelled in the subscription settings in the Google Play store. The semester plan and Credit packages do not renew automatically and do not require cancellation.
6. Right of withdrawal and consent to immediate performance
The Service consists of delivering digital content and digital services that begin immediately after purchase. By purchasing a subscription, semester plan, or Credit package, a User who is a consumer: - consents to the start of Service performance (granting Credits and features) before the statutory 14-day withdrawal period expires, and - acknowledges that once performance begins, they lose the right to withdraw from a distance contract, in accordance with Article 38 of the Act of 30 May 2014 on consumer rights. The consent referred to above is given by the User in an explicit manner during the purchase process, before payment confirmation. If the User does not give the above consent, they retain the statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, but the Service may not be made available before that period expires. This section does not affect consumer rights arising from mandatory provisions of law.
7. Refunds and complaints
The handling of refunds and complaints depends on the channel through which the purchase was made: Purchases through Stripe (Extension and quizonator.com website): payment-related complaints and reports should be sent to the Service Provider at support@quizonator.com. Subject to sections 3 and 6, fees for digital services are non-refundable. Purchases in the App (Google Play): refunds and complaints for purchases made in the App are governed by the Google Play store terms and refund policy and are handled directly by Google. The Service Provider does not process refunds for purchases made through Google Play. For issues related to the Service itself, the User may also contact the Service Provider at support@quizonator.com.
