1. What this policy covers

2. Categories of technologies

Essential

They keep your session, security and sign-in working, protect registration and sign-in against abuse, remember your language and store your privacy decision. The website cannot work properly without them.

Analytics

Google Analytics helps us measure traffic, feature use and errors. We start it only after analytics consent.

Marketing

Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel may measure the effectiveness of campaigns and build audiences. We start them only after marketing consent.

03

3. Tools we use

  • CookieConsent: stores the fact that you made a decision, for 180 days
  • cookieConsentPrefs in browser storage: stores the selected categories until you change your settings or clear your browser data
  • Google reCAPTCHA on the registration page: protects against bots and fake accounts; Google receives technical data about the browser and how the page is used
  • FingerprintJS at registration and sign-in: creates a browser identifier from its technical features so we can detect multiple accounts and other abuse
  • qz_browser_install_id and other keys in browser storage: an installation identifier for security, the selected language and dismissed notices
  • Fontshare fonts: the browser downloads them from the provider's server, which receives the IP address
  • Google Analytics 4: optional analytics after consent
  • Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel: optional marketing measurement after consent
  • session cookies and local storage: sign-in, security, settings and the operation of your account
04

4. Legal basis

We use essential technologies, including the protection of registration and sign-in against abuse, where they are necessary to provide the service you request. We start the other technologies only after informing you in advance and obtaining your consent. Refusing analytics or marketing does not block the basic features of the website.

05

5. How to change your choice

In the banner you can reject optional technologies, accept all of them or choose specific categories. You can change your consent later by reopening the cookie settings (the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer) or by clearing the website data in your browser.

You can also block cookies in your browser settings, but turning off essential technologies may prevent you from signing in or keeping your settings.

06

6. Third-party providers

Google, Meta and TikTok may receive technical data, such as a device or browser identifier, the pages visited and events, only to the extent covered by the consent you gave. The exception is reCAPTCHA, which runs on the registration page to protect against abuse. The retention periods and further use of the data are described in the policies of these providers.

07

7. Mobile apps and the extension

The mobile apps and the extension may use local device storage, sign-in tokens and technical identifiers instead of classic cookies. The same rules apply to them: necessary technologies serve the operation of the product, and optional ones require an appropriate legal basis.

08

8. Changes and contact

The list of providers may change as the product develops. If a change affects the scope of your consent, we will ask you to decide again. Send questions to support@quizonator.com.

You stay in control.

Reject optional technologies in the banner or choose only the categories you accept.
