The short version
- A Kahoot bot adds fake players to a game. It does not know the answers and does not help you win.
- A PIN is the code of one game session, not of a quiz. Answers cannot be read from a PIN alone.
- With the link or the ID of a quiz you can see its key, if the quiz shares it. In Quizonator that is free.
- Extensions and scripts read your own screen, so they work where the question is on your device.
- In a live game the question is on the classroom screen. That is where a phone with a camera helps.
Kahoot bots: a lot of noise, no answers
Searches like “kahoot bot” and “kahoot bot spam” lead to tools that push dozens of fake players into a game. A game is joined with a PIN, so that is all a bot needs. The result is a list of odd nicknames on the screen and a lesson that stops.
A bot like that does not know the answers and does not score for you. If you want correct answers, it is a dead end. Quizonator does nothing of the kind: it adds no accounts and floods no game.
Kahoot answers by game PIN: why that does not work
A game PIN is the code of one session. According to Kahoot’s help center, the host creates it when starting a live game or assigning a kahoot. In a live game the PIN works only until the game ends, and in an assignment until its deadline.
So a PIN says which session you are joining, not which quiz it is. That is why tools that promise “kahoot answers by game pin” have nowhere to take the key from. What a PIN does let you do is join the game, and then the question can simply be read: from your own screen or from the classroom screen.
The key of a quiz from its link or ID: works when the quiz shares it
Every quiz has its own ID: a long code in its address. With the quiz link or the ID alone you can see the questions and the answers the author marked as correct. Not every quiz shares its key, so this does not work every time, but when it does, you have all the answers before the game.
In Quizonator this is free and needs no account: paste the link or the quiz ID into the field on the Kahoot page and see the questions with the correct answers marked. Nothing is guessed here and no AI is used.
Paste a link or a quiz IDExtensions, scripts and “auto answer”
Browser extensions and scripts run in your browser, so they see only what is on your screen. They make sense in kahoots you play at your own pace: assignments from your teacher, solo play and the study modes. There the question and the answers are on your own device.
The Quizonator extension for Chrome reads such a question and marks the correct answer next to it. One question uses one answer from your plan, as on other platforms.
Be careful with random scripts from the web. Code pasted into a browser runs with your permissions, so install only what comes from an extension store and names its author clearly.
Chrome extensionA phone camera: the way for live games
In a live game the questions appear on a shared screen and players answer on their own devices. A phone then shows colored tiles, so a tool that reads only your screen has nothing to read.
The Quizonator iOS app reads the question from the classroom screen with your phone camera and shows the right tile: color, shape and text. One person scanning is enough, because the whole crew gets the hint. Reading takes several seconds. It is a beta feature of the PRO and PRO+ plans, and one question uses 2 answers per question through November 15, 2026, then 5.
Live Kahoot in the appWhat no hack will do
- It will not make you certain. The key of a quiz is there only when the quiz shares it, and AI can be wrong.
- It will not answer a poll or a word cloud. Those questions have no correct answer and give no points.
- It will not replace speed. Points in Kahoot drop with response time, so a hint still has to be tapped in time.
Your teacher and your school’s rules decide which aids are allowed. Check them before you use anything in a graded game.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a Kahoot hack that always gives the right answers?
No. The key of a quiz can be seen only when the quiz shares it, and AI can be wrong. Whoever promises a sure result promises too much.
Does a Kahoot bot give answers?
No. A bot adds fake players to a game and nothing more. It does not know the answers and does not score for you.
Can I get Kahoot answers from a game PIN?
No. A PIN identifies one session, not a quiz. With a PIN you can join the game, and the Quizonator app can then read the question from the classroom screen.
How do I see Kahoot answers by quiz ID?
Paste the quiz link or the quiz ID on the Kahoot page in Quizonator. If the quiz shares its key, you see every question with the correct answers, free and without an account.
Kahoot answers from a link · Kahoot quiz ID: where to find it
Is there a Kahoot extension that shows answers?
Yes. The Quizonator extension for Chrome marks the answer in self-paced kahoots: assignments, solo play and study mode. In a live game the question is on the classroom screen, so the app works there.
Does a Kahoot hack work on a phone?
Chrome extensions run on computers. On a phone you have the link field in the browser and the Quizonator app, which reads the question from the classroom screen with the camera in a live game.
Is using Kahoot cheats allowed?
That depends on the rules of your school and your teacher. Check them before you use any aid in a graded game.
